Cottage Refurbishment

The Project

This project involved a full back-to-brick refurbishment of a traditional cottage, addressing significant structural and damp-related issues while completely reconfiguring the internal layout.

Extensive works were required throughout, including the installation of a new damp proof course, full rewire, new gas central heating system, and upgrades to drainage and incoming mains water supply.

The internal layout was reworked to improve flow, usability and natural light, including the removal of chimney breasts and non-load bearing walls to open up the living space.
